My Prom!

I fancied doing a style post so thought it would be nice to tell you about my prom outfit!

Firstly I went to Bobbi Brown in Selfridges to get my make-up done. This was so fun and made me feel like such a princess. Next time you're looking to buy some pricey designer make-up I'd suggest you just get your make-up done professionally as you get the money back in products! It cost me £30 to get my make-up done and I used this to buy the Bobbi Brown Eye Liner in black for £17.50 and also a Bobbi Brown Lipstick in Soft Coral and I love them both so much! My make-up seemed to last through my whole Prom night and is really good quality.
I'm not into them ridiculously big prom dresses so I decided to go for something a little more simplistic and affordable. I also wanted to pick something that I could easily wear again so I wouldn't just be wearing it once.

Dress- Asos (£60)
Clutch Bag - Accessorize (£25 - sale)
Shoes - Jeffrey Campbell @ Office (£120)

and I did my hair myself :)

Thanks for reading! <3

My Top 3 Daily Make-Up Essentials!

1. Bourjois Bio Detox Organic Foundation

For me, this is a must! I have quite oily skin and this thick foundation has excellent matte coverage. It can be found at Asos and Lloyds Pharamacy for £10. I think this is reasonable as you get a decent amount in this classy glass bottle and it seems to last forever! I would definitely reccomend you try this, or for more combination/normal skin types maybe try the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation.

2. Bobbi Brown Rich Lip Colour (Soft Coral)

Bobbi Brown lipsticks are to die for! The soft texture and good quality of the lipstick is the best I can find and the 'soft coral' colour, which is my favourite, really adds some life to my rather pale complexion without looking too over the top. However, this is around £18 from shops like Selfridges. This might seem a bit steep but it is one of them lipsticks that's worth the investment!

3. Rimmel Silky Loose Powder (Translucent

As I said, I have quite oily skin and using this throughout the day helps reduce shine A LOT! This is my savior and I only just picked it up recently and wish I had done sooner! It is only £7.19 from Superdrug at the moment and a must have item for every girl.
